On Be My Guest, Garten's friends will swap recipes, share stories, and tour the Hamptons with the Barefoot Contessa herself.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to spend a day with Ina Garten, shopping in farmers' markets, cooking comforting recipes, and chatting over some oversized cocktails, her new Food Network show just might give you a taste.

Premiering March 26, Garten's upcoming series Be My Guest will actually take on three different formats: An hour-long version available to stream on Discovery+; a half-hour, food-focused version airing Saturdays at 12 p.m. on Food Network; and a companion podcast version available on audio platforms.

While we're used to Ina talking straight the camera, each episode of Be My Guest will let Ina serve as de facto talk show host, inviting a special guest (or two) into Garten's East Hampton home "for a day of conversation, connection, food and fun visits to some of her favorite local spots." An announcement from Food Network reveals that the first season of visitors will include actress Julianna Margulies, broadcaster Willie Geist, chef Erin French, and Hollywood power couple Rob Marshall and Jon DeLuca. And yes, of course, Jeffery will be popping up as well.

"This show is a dream come true for me," Garten said. "I've invited old friends and some new ones for great conversations, a little cooking, and a personal tour of East Hampton. This is going to be really fun!"

The first run of Be My Guest will only last four episodes, but if you're thinking that's not enough Ina, don't worry. The announcement says that, even in advance of the premiere date, the series has been picked up for two additional cycles set to film later this year.

"Without question, one of the most frequent inquiries I receive is, 'Can you help me get an invitation to Ina's for lunch?'" Courtney White, President, Food Network and Streaming Food Content, Discovery Inc., said. "Be My Guest is just that, an invitation from Ina to our audience to join her and some of her favorite people as they share personal stories over cocktails and cooking favorite recipes. The multi-platform format allows for extended content, because no one is ready to leave Ina's garden after just a thirty-minute visit!"

Speaking of beloved food personalities, Food Network also announced a new series this week inspired by one of the most iconic TV chefs: Julia Child. Also debuting this March, The Julia Child Challenge will pit eight Julia superfans in a competition to cook through Child's recipes and create their own dishes for a shot at the grand prize of a three-month culinary school experience in Paris.
