Sure, the winningest team in the history of the NBA is just one game away from officially missing the Finals, but that doesn’t mean the last seven game series of the season can’t still be exciting. And not just because it will probably feature Lebron (sorry Raptors fans). Nope, the most exciting part of the NBA Finals is that we’ll all have the chance to win free tacos!

Taco Bell has announced that this year they’ll be running a “Steal a Game, Steal a Taco” promotion. In this taco-fied version of legalized sports betting, the Mexican fast food chain will be giving away tacos if the away team wins any of their games on the road. So be sure to root, root, root for the away team.

According to a press release, here’s how it works: “If the road team wins Game 1, Game 2, or Game 3, America will get a free Doritos Locos Taco on Wednesday, June 15 from 2 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (local time) at all participating Taco Bell locations. If the road team wins Game 4, Game 5, Game 6, or Game 7, America will score a free Doritos Locos Taco on Tuesday, June 21 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (local time) at all participating US Taco Bell locations.” Holy shit. That’s almost as confusing as figuring out the NBA’s travelling rule.

Regardless, if you like basketball and you like tacos, this promotion could be fun. Or as NBA Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships Kerry Tatlock puts it, “Stealing a game on the road in The Finals is a tremendous accomplishment, and with ‘Steal a Game, Steal a Taco,’ fans across the country can share the win.” Yes, because nothing makes you feel like a winner more than eating a free taco.
