Hedley & Bennett Just Launched a Limited-Edition Collection with Rifle Paper Co.

You can pick up a printed face mask and an apron, too.

This spring, popular chef gear company Hedley & Bennett was one of many food and home goods businesses that started making masks in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The non-medical “Wake Up & Fight Mask,” developed with pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Cho, has a pocket for a removable filter and is available in a range of solid colors, including “Light Blue Oxford” and “Gray Chambray.” But if you’d prefer a pattern, for a limited time, you can also pick them up in different flowery designs, thanks to a new collaboration with Rifle Paper Co.

The two companies previously collaborated on an apron collection, which was “one of the most requested aprons of all time,” according to a post on Hedley & Bennett’s Instagram. This time, you can pick up both an apron and a mask, and there’s even an opportunity to match them. The “Wake Up & Fight Mask-Rifle Paper Co. Edition” (also non-medical) is available in four different prints—Wildflower, Folk Horse, Rosa Navy, and Rosa Natural. Each mask has a flexible metal nosepiece, a crossback ribbon tie, and a pocket to insert a disposable filter. (Filters are not included with purchase.) Like the original Wake Up & Fight Mask, they’re $22, although they’re not available in the "buy-one, donate-one" quantity.

The apron, on the other hand, is Hedley & Bennett’s Classic apron made from Rifle Paper Co.’s Folk Horse fabric, a cotton and linen blend. It's $98, and features a chest pocket with a double layer design and “double needle stitching for reinforced durability.” Machine-wash it on cold, and tumble-dry it on low or hang it out to dry. If you purchase both the apron and any of the mask prints, you’ll receive 10 percent off your order. The discount will automatically appear at checkout, per the product page.

This collection benefits Baby2Baby, a nonprofit that “provides children living in poverty, ages 0-12 years, with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves,” by donating 25,000 masks (from the original Hedley & Bennett Wake Up & Fight Mask collection) to the charity's COVID-19 relief efforts. If you're interested in picking up a mask and/or an apron, make sure you act fast—since it’s a limited-edition collection, they'll only be available while supplies last.
