Goldfish Crackers Teamed Up with JNCO Jeans to Help You Relive the '90s

When you need pockets large enough to hold an entire bag of fish-shaped crackers, there's only one denim company to call.

Fashion styles come and go: Ties get wider and skinnier; waistlines get higher and lower; jeans get tighter and baggier. Whether they'll ever get as baggy as they were when denim brand JNCO turned ultra-wide jeans into a cultural phenomenon in the '90s is unlikely, but jeans have seemed to be loosening up again in recent years. And at least one cracker brand hasn't forgotten the ultra-baggy jean glory days: Goldfish has just announced they've teamed up to release a limited-edition line of jeans with JNCO — the only jean brand able to offer pockets large enough to hold an entire bag of Goldfish crackers.

Launched to coincide with Goldfish crackers' latest limited-edition flavor — Jalapeño Popper — these new limited-edition Goldfish Jalapeño Popper JNCO jeans are being billed as "the ultimate '90s snacking pants with the wide-legged style JNCO is known for [and] large pockets perfect for a bag of Jalapeño Popper Goldfish." In fact, each order for the jeans includes a bag of the new crackers in the purchase price.

"'90s nostalgia is on the rise, and when deciding on our next flavor, we immediately thought of our favorite snack from the era: Jalapeño Poppers," Danielle Brown, vice president of marketing for Goldfish's parent company, Campbell Snacks. "In bringing this iconic flavor to life, nothing put a smile on our faces like creating the ultimate '90s combo of a pair of JNCO jeans with a bag of Jalapeño Popper Goldfish peeking out of each pocket."

These spicy jeans are being sold while supplies last starting at 10 a.m. ET today at JNCO.com/goldfish. Pairs are priced at $200 a pop — but as still expected to sell out quickly. However, Goldfish has hinted that fans will have the opportunity to score the jeans in other ways if they keep an eye on the brand's social media accounts.

Meanwhile, Camilla Revah, vice president of JNCO Los Angeles, added that her company was happy to hear from a nostalgia-loving brand. "JNCO is about celebrating individuality and embracing art, culture, and creativity," she said. "When our friends at Goldfish presented an idea to celebrate the 90s together, we were thrilled to combine JNCO's iconic wide leg style and this nostalgic Goldfish flavor in such an exciting way."
