Miller High Life's New Ice Cream Treats Taste Like a Dive Bar

The beer-infused ice cream bars are even five-percent ABV.

Last year, Miller Lite jumped on the food-brands-creating-odd-scented-candles trend — joining the likes of Ikea's meatball candle, Shake Shack's burger-in-the-park candle, and McDonald's six-candle Quarter Pounder set — by releasing a candle that filled your home with the delightful smells of… a dive bar.

Now, for 2022, Miller High Life is hopping on another hot trend: strange frozen treats — joining the likes of Kraft Mac & Cheese ice cream, Grey Poupon ice cream, and French's ketchup ice pops — by releasing an ice cream bar that tantalizes your tongue with the delicious flavors of… yeah, again, it's a dive bar. But, bonus, this ice cream treat actually contains alcohol!

Let's tackle the big question first: What exactly do Miller High Life Ice Cream Dive Bars taste like? Well, Miller partnered with the boozy ice cream brand Tipsy Scoop, and so, unsurprisingly, the frozen treats start with actual Miller High Life ("the champagne of beers") which is infused into the ice cream, resulting in a final product that packs a five-percent ABV punch.

From there, the ice cream is given a peanut swirl in honor of the "quintessential dive bar snack," as Miller describes it in the announcement. Also included is a "hint of tobacco smoke flavor" and a gooey caramel swirl which is intended to mimic that "distinct sticky dive bar floor feeling." A sprinkle of carbonated candy is included to bring back the fizziness drinkers expect from a freshly poured beer. And finally, the whole ice cream bar is "dipped in dark chocolate to evoke the dark wood and dim lighting ambiance that all good dives share."

The description sounds far better than the name implies, and if you want to give this ice cream on a stick a try, you actually have multiple options to procure one. Six-packs of the frozen treats are going on sale today with delivery to all 50 states through Tipsy Scoop's website and the nationwide delivery service for $36 a box — though keep in mind, you must be 21 years of age or older to buy them.

Or, another option: Individual Miller High Life Ice Cream Dive Bars will be available for $6 each in Tipsy Scoop's three New York City "Barlours" — especially appealing if you want to go full dive bar style and grumpily have one alone surround by people you don't actually intend to talk to.
