With the holiday season approaching, you probably have cookies on the brain. And what better place to start baking than with our festive December cover stars: These brown-butter cardamom Spitzbuben cookies. Plus, you could win big just for making them—think lots and lots of butter and cheese.

To celebrate the upcoming Food & Wine Classic at Home: Holiday Edition, we're launching a Cook the Cover Contest that could win you $200 worth of Kerrygold butter and cheese for all your winter baking projects. And we'll repost the winning photo on our Instagram account for maximum glory.

Here's how it works: Starting at 9:00 a.m. ET on November 30, 2020, and through 11:59 p.m. ET on December 17, 2020, log in to Instagram and upload an original photo of the Spitzbuben cookies you baked from the cover of our December 2020 issue. Make sure to tag #fwcookthecovercontest and double-check that your Instagram account is public so we can see your submission. Our team of judges will choose our favorite based on the aesthetics and creativity of the photo and caption, as well as the appearance of the cookies themselves.
