Disney Made Chef Mickey Kitchen Accessories for This Year's California Adventure Food Festival
It may be a blustery season in most parts of the U.S. (and was even chilly for a bit on the southern coast), but the festival season is now in full swing at Disney Parks. Along with Disney World’s annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, which lets guests enjoy floral displays, topiary sculptures, and garden experiences alongside a new collection of outdoor kitchens, the delectable 2018 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival kicked off last Friday.
The west-coast festival, which runs from March 2 to April 12, is an annual celebration of the best cuisine California has to offer. To coincide with this year’s tasty experience, Disney Parks has released a line of kitchen merchandise that lets both cooking enthusiasts and Disney fans get a little help from Chef Mickey. Coming in a vineyard-inspired color palette, the collection includes apparel and a slew of home entertainment and kitchenware products.
Glassware, coasters, an apron, and pot holders are among the items available for purchase and feature unique art designs and new silhouettes. Expect to find Chef Mickey happily serving up delicious-looking dishes alongside the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival logo on each line item. Annual Passholders can also get the exclusive (and brand new) 20-ounce aluminum Tervis tumbler wrapped in textured artwork.
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival grants park visitors access to not just a diverse menu of local flavor favorites, but everything from spirits to special brews. This year, guests can dine on avocado ice cream bars, strawberry and coconut rice “frushi,” salt and beer vinegar parmesan chicken wings, or Verlasso sustainable salmon Peruvian poke. They’ll also be able to try a wide selection of craft beers, ciders, wines, and specialty drinks through the festival’s themed stations and beer garden. That includes drinks like the Popcorn Lemonade Cocktail, Beet Kombucha Sangria, and Black Market Brewing Co.’s Deception Coconut Lime Blonde Ale.
Once you’re done sampling everything the Disney park festival has to offer, you can stop by the Studio Store, Art Pergola near Studio Store or Paradise Carts near Seaside Souvenirs to bring a bit of Mickey back to your kitchen.
