A ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Pop-Up Is Finally Coming to New York City
Fans can enjoy some of their favorite “Burgers of the Day” from chef Alvin Cailan, with proceeds benefiting the Los Angeles Fire Department.
For the first time, a Bob’s Burgers restaurant pop-up is hitting New York City, giving fans of the animated Fox comedy an excuse to stuff their hearts (and not just stockings) with burgers during the holiday season.
Opening on Monday, December 18, the week-long pop-up will see you—like Bob’s friend and frequent customer Teddy—eating whatever gets put in front of you. That’s because the “7 Days of Bob’s Burgers at Chefs Club Counter” menu will feature a different burger for each of the seven days the pop-up is open.
Fans will be able to grab burgers like season three’s four different cheddars burger “Don't You Four Cheddar 'bout Me,” a play on the famous 1985 Famous Minds, as well as the Pat Benatar-inspired season one burger “Hit Me with Your Best Shallot,” which includes caramelized shallots, chèvre spread, and arugula. In addition to the burgers, decor—like a Bob’s Burger flag, posters, and the famous “Burger of the Day” chalkboard—will honor the show. The entire meal will cost you $20 and will come with fries, a sticker and a Bob’s Burgers keychain.
Chef Alvin Cailan is cooking up this sensational celebration of burgers at Chefs Club Counter (62 Spring Street, New York, NY) where he is presently the Chef-in-Residence. Cailan, who is behind Los Angeles’ Eggslut, was also the brainchild of the wildly popular Bob’s Burgers Unit 120 pop-up in L.A. last year.
The event won’t just benefit fans either. In the spirit of the giving season, proceeds from each sale at the Chef’s Club Counter will go to the Los Angeles Fire Department. For those looking to get a spot, the pop-up opens at 11:30 a.m. and closes when all the burgers are sold out, beginning Monday, December 18 and running through Sunday, December 24.
