Amazon Prime Day Is Arriving Soon— and You Can Already Shop These Kitchen Deals
It's official: Amazon Prime Day is returning to ring in the summer of 2021. The event includes two million deals across every category on the site, from home and fashion to beauty and electronics. The countdown has begun as it will take place over two days: June 21 and June 22. Here is everything you need to know for finding the best discounts.
When Does Amazon Prime Day Start?
Timing is key for shopping Prime Day, as always. Deals will go live at amazon.com/primeday starting at 3 a.m. EST on June 21 and will end at midnight EST on June 22. Some flash sales will only last a few hours, others will continue as long as supplies last. If the past few years are any reference, the best time to check for deals starts at around 6 a.m. in the morning (though many more will pop up throughout the day). There will be fresh deals on each day, so keep an eye out for big discounts on both Monday and Tuesday.
What Are the Best Deals on Amazon Prime Day?
For our cooking and hosting purposes, we're keeping an eye on several big categories. Kitchen appliances are a huge draw, and we'll be on the lookout for blenders, stand mixers, and air fryers. Knife sets, cookware, and cast iron tools will also be a focal point for kitchen deals—think Le Creuset and nonstick pan sets. Smart home devices like the Echo Show will be at the forefront, as well as vacuums, air purifiers, and other electronics.
How Can Shoppers Support Small Businesses?
Amazon is also putting the spotlight on third-party retailers and small businesses that make up 60% of its platform. Starting on June 7, Prime members will earn a $10 credit when they spend $10 on small business in Amazon's store through June 20. Check out amazon.com/supportsmall for a full storefront of Black-owned, woman-owned, and military family-owned small businesses.
