Amazon Just Announced the Date for Prime Day 2020
Mark your calendars for the best kitchen deals yet.
This year has turned many things upside down, and even the retail giants have had to make adjustments. Amazon Prime Day, the company’s biggest day of online deals outside of Cyber Monday, usually happens in July. But due to massive demand and reorganization to deal with pandemic-level operations, Amazon pushed the event back a few months. Today they finally announced the official date for 2020.
When Is Amazon Prime Day 2020 in the U.S.?
Amazon Prime Day 2020 will take place on October 13 and 14. The sale will be available to all Prime members (sign up for a 30-day free trial here), and deals will go live at 12 a.m. PST on October 13. Amazon shoppers can also save $10 on Prime Day from shopping U.S.-based small businesses on the site from September 28 through October 12 (see Amazon.com/supportsmall).
Amazon Prime Day 2020 Deals
Prime Day first started in 2015 as a single day to treat Prime members wit major discounts and deals. It has since expanded to a 48-hour event with deals across every category from home entertainment to cookware and the retailer's rapidly expanding fashion section. Check out the deals page for all of the most current discounts.
Customers can shop deals by department, and now use filters like women-owned, black-owned, and military family-owned to find great small businesses to support. The Amazon mobile app also has a new feature called “watch this deal” that will send an alert when an item goes on sale. We’ve rounded up a few good deals happening now, but be sure to bookmark the deals page to find the best Lightning Deals on Prime Day 2020.
