When you’re planning a bachelorette party, birthday party, or even a proposal, dinner is almost always a crucial element of the evening. You want the night to go smoothly, but the restaurant has to fit a certain set of requirements: It has to be intimate but still have an upbeat energy. It should have a friendly staff, room to accommodate a big group, and a robust wine list, obviously. Finding a restaurant that fits into all those categories is a daunting task, but take heart, Open Table is here to help. The restaurant reservations website recently released its list of the 100 Best Restaurants for a Big Night Out.

OpenTable searched through the more than 12 million reviews on its site to look for restaurants perfect for an anniversary celebration, a night out with friends and other special events, picking out restaurants where the focus is on a “lively ambience” and having fun.

The list spans 24 states as well as Washington D.C., with the most honorees popping up in California and Florida. The cities that appear most on the list are New York City and Las Vegas, which both have reputations built on a legendary nightlife scene.

Compère Lapin, where Nina Compton, a 2017 Food & Wine Best New Chef, runs the kitchen, made the list. So did Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas, Husk in Charleston, Momofuku Las Vegas and Ivan Ramen in New York, whose chef, Ivan Orkin was featured on an episode of Chef’s Table.

You can find the full list here, and hopefully it will help alleviate some of the struggle that comes with a planning a big event. After all, when it comes to your big night out, you should be focused on celebrating, not stressing over choosing the perfect restaurant.
