After celebrating our inaugural Food & Wine Classic at Home this summer, which brought together the country's top chefs and drink professionals for virtual seminars, tastings, and demos, we're hosting round two this holiday season to keep the cheer going.
The holiday-themed event, which will take place virtually on Saturday, December 5, at 5 p.m. EST, will feature cooking demos and interactive wine tastings with our favorite food and drink experts. Hosted again by Food & Wine Culinary Director-at-Large Justin Chapple, the Classic at Home will include a tasting of sparkling wines for the holidays with our Executive Wine Editor Ray Isle and a seminar on cozy winter reds with Leslie Sbrocco. We'll also have festive cooking demos from chefs Kwame Onwuachi, Brooke Williamson, and Douglass Williams. The show will be your ultimate entertaining guide for the season, with tips from Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Food & Wine Editor-in-Chief Hunter Lewis, Alexander Smalls, Drew and Linda Scott, and more.
Just because the event is virtual doesn't mean you can't drink along at home! For the wine tastings, we've gathered all the bottles being featured at the Food & Wine Classic at Home, and you can buy them right here. Sipping along is the best way to get the most out of the seminars (and to have a jolly time, of course).
Sponsors for the Classic at Home include Dewar’s, Diora, Kerrygold, Chilean Salmon, and Santa Margherita. Food & Wine will make a contribution to No Kid Hungry to further support their mission of ending child hunger.
