Jessica Alba's Honest Company Launches Beauty Line. Here are 5 Products We've Been Using All Along
Jessica Alba's Honest Company baby brand has turned her into a billion dollar woman and put her on the cover of Forbes as one of the most powerful women in business. But she’s not stopping at babies. Last Friday, she announced via Instagram that her Honest Company is launching a beauty line.
While we wait for Alba to honestly change our beauty routines, here are five Honest Company products we’ve been (not-so-secretly) using all along.
This $8.95 deodorant utilizes an essential oil blend of organic tea tree, witch hazel, lemon, and eucalyptus while keeping underarms dry. Available in three subtle scents — bergamot sage, vetiver, and lavender vanilla.
Immunity Defense Supplement
Made with Black Elderberry, self-healing-boosting herbs, and aloe, Honest Company’s Immunity Defense packs a month’s worth of immune system support at $21.95 a bottle. As with the deodorant, it's free of gluten, soy, yeast, wheat, eggs, sweeteners (including high fructose corn syrup) and preservatives.
Faux Leather City Backpack
Offered in three colors (black, elephant brown, and gray), this $150 backpack works as both a spacious carry-all and a multi-functional diaper bag. Made from 100% vegan leather, the backpack has a large insulated pocket for snacks or bottles (for you and baby), five interior pockets, and a travel/storage bag.
Organic Shave Oil
For an extra close, smooth shave, Honest Company’s Shave Oil ($15.95) uses argan, grape seed, and jojoba oils to leave skin conditioned and moisturized while the calendula, aloe, and tamanu oils help calm sensitive skin and reduce irritation from head to toe.
Organic Healing Balm
Honest Company Healing Balm ($12.95) combines organic sunflower, olive and coconut oils, and shea butter to moisturize and soothe skin. Meanwhile, tamanu oil helps balance skin’s natural moisture while chamomile and calendula calms existing skin issues from the very first use.
