If you love baking but wish you could do it with a joystick…you are the center of an unusual Venn diagram. But now there is a game made just for you. Created in fewer than 48 hours for the Ludum Dare (an annual gamer competition), Baking Simulator 2014 lets you bake a virtual cake. Sound simple? It’s not. The player controls a set of hands, as well as a finger and thumb on each, using buttons on a keyboard. As demonstrated in the above video, you have to tap into some serious coordination skills to pick up and add specific amounts of four ingredients (butter, flour, eggs, sugar) to a mixing bowl, then place it in the oven. If you want to try playing for yourself, you can waste several hours of your workday here.
