We’ve heard of one pot meals, and now a full breakfast (or burgers or whatever) are just one pan away thanks to the MasterPan. Okay, so it’s basically one of those compartmental lunch trays from elementary school, except heavy. It’s blowing up the Internet right now, and we have Tom Daley to thank. Yes, that Tom Daley—the diver and two-time Olympic bronze medalist for Great Britain. Daley recently made a full English breakfast for his fiancée, Academy Award-winning screenwriter and director Dustin Lance Black (there’s a lot of precious metals on their mantle) and shared a photo of himself using the MasterPan on Facebook. From there, the all-in-one cookware took off and the rest is fleeting viral history. The MasterPan certainly isn’t new, but its recent rise to prominence is a prime example of stroke-of-luck social media marketing.

The heavy cast aluminum pan retails on Amazon for $57 or the official site for $80. (We’re not telling you to go with Amazon, but… go with Amazon.) As far as heat distribution, according to the website, “The pan has been designed so that the grill section which is in the middle of the pan will always be 15-20% hotter than the side sections so its ideal to cook meats and fish in the center section at a slightly higher temperature while the sides remain slightly less hot for cooking vegetables, potatoes, eggs, pancakes, etc.” That said, you can not only cook and keep various elements of your breakfast separated, but with a little practice you can master (Oh! There it is!) grilling, toasting and griddling the perfect meal in one go. It’s only one pan to wash, which proves even dedicated athletes like Daley get lazy from time to time. Turns out they’re just like us.
