Even more argument that baby peaches will be the next big fruit. In a video connected to Kim Severson’s New York Times article, food revolutionary Alice Waters discovers the tiny peaches I wrote about two weeks ago. It turns out that even Waters has never seen the mini, candy-like fruit. When she asks about the type of peaches, the gruff woman at the Cheerful Cherry replies, “They’re small.” Waters buys them anyway, even speaking baby talk to them. Move over, microgreens.
