Experience

Zachary Feldman has been writing about food and drink for over 15 years. He had a column with Serious Eats called Midnight Snacks and later wrote about making bitters at home, which he was doing in his spare time while he was a food critic for The Village Voice. This side interest eventually became Bitters, Old Men, which Feldman launched in 2010. In addition to the line's popular signature flavors, such as Krangostura (his take on the classic Angostura) and Smoke Get in Your Bitters, Feldman custom-designs bitters for bar clients.
