Vicki Denig is a freelance wine and travel journalist who divides her time between New York and Paris. She is a certified wine specialist who has worked in the wine trade since 2013. Denig's writing appears regularly in Decanter, Departures, Food & Wine,, and Wine Enthusiast, among others.


Vicki Denig's wine industry career began as a consultant at Sud de France Développement, then later as a wine consultant/buyer at Quality House Wines in New York City. She joined the digital media company VinePair as a staff writer, then later managed content and social media at Verve Wine. In addition to freelance writing, which Denig has been pursuing full-time for the past several years, she also works as a content creator and social media manager for a number of prestigious clients, including Sopexa, Paris Wine Company, Becky Wasserman, Windmill Wine & Spirits, and Corkbuzz.


Vicki Denig holds a bachelor of arts in French and Italian from Hunter College.
