Tom Colicchio

Tom Colicchio is the chef and owner of Crafted Hospitality, which includes New York's Craft and Temple Court; Craft Los Angeles; Las Vegas' Heritage Steak and Craftsteak; and Small Batch in Garden City, New York. Tom is the head judge and executive producer of the Emmy-winning Bravo hit series, Top Chef. He hosts the iHeart Radio podcast, Citizen Chef.


Experience

Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Colicchio launched his career in New York at The Quilted Giraffe, Gotham Bar & Grill, Gramercy Tavern, and Mondrian before opening Craft in 2001 and Colicchio & Sons in 2010. Outside of his fine dining restaurants, Colicchio opened ‘wichcraft – a fast-casual sandwich and salad concept – in 2003.

Colicchio has won eight James Beard Awards, authored three books, and executive produced the 2013 documentary A Place at the Table about the underlying causes of hunger in the U.S. He's worked extensively on food policy in Washington, D.C., and appears frequently on TV.
