Tom is the head judge and executive producer of the Emmy-winning Bravo hit series, Top Chef. He hosts the iHeart Radio podcast, Citizen Chef. Experience Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Colicchio launched his career in New York at The Quilted Giraffe, Gotham Bar & Grill, Gramercy Tavern, and Mondrian before opening Craft in 2001 and Colicchio & Sons in 2010. Outside of his fine dining restaurants, Colicchio opened ‘wichcraft – a fast-casual sandwich and salad concept – in 2003.Colicchio has won eight James Beard Awards, authored three books, and executive produced the 2013 documentary A Place at the Table about the underlying causes of hunger in the U.S. He's worked extensively on food policy in Washington, D.C., and appears frequently on TV.
