Experience

At the age of 16, Tom Aikens entered catering school at the highly regarded Norwich College. He landed his first job at Cavaliers in Battersea where he impressed chef/owner David Cavalier with his passion and hard work. This led to an opportunity to work under chef Pierre Koffman at the three-Michelin-starred La Tante Claire and eventually with Richard Neat at Pied à Terre and Joël Robuchon in Paris. After returning to London and taking over Pied à Terre, Aikens became the youngest chef awarded two Michelin stars. He went on to open a variety of restaurant concepts, from fine dining to gastropub over the last two decades. He launched his 25-seat fine dining restaurant Muse in 2020, which was awarded its first Michelin star a year later.

Education
