Rachel Soszynski

Rachel Soszynski is a former culinary professional with over 15 years of experience in the food industry. She spent a decade working in content development and kitchen operations at Food & Wine and Food Network, focused on researching, testing, editing, and writing recipes for print, digital, and marketing. Her work has also appeared in Real Simple and Tasting Table. 


Rachel Soszynski’s career in food began at the French Culinary Institute, where she graduated with a culinary arts and wine diploma. She subsequently served as operations manager for the school’s Continuing Education Department, creating the curriculum for its basic wine education course based on the teaching methods and philosophy of Master Sommelier Andrea Immer Robinson. Rachel then went on to consult for the international food and beverage chain Pret A Manger, where she helped to streamline its U.S. menu offerings. She left the food industry in 2016 and currently serves as the director of human resources operations at the video publishing platform Connatix.


Rachel holds a bachelor of arts in theatre from the University of Michigan and a JD, doctor of law degree from Indiana University.
