Jocelyn Delk Adams Jocelyn Delk Adams is the baker and writer behind the popular food blog Grandbaby Cakes, as well as the author of an award-winning cookbook by the same name. Her decade of experience has seen her become a guest on shows like TODAY and Good Morning America, and she's been featured by many publications including Food & Wine and Essence. Experience Jocelyn's love of baking was heavily influenced by childhood trips to visit her grandmother ("Big Mama" Maggie) in Mississippi, who always had a pan of peach cobbler waiting for her. The recipes she inherited from Maggie became the inspiration behind grandbaby-cakes.com, a food blog she founded in 2012 that became her full-time job within two years. In 2015, she published her debut cookbook Grandbaby Cakes, which won the Gourmand World Award for Best Blogger Cookbook USA in 2016; the same year, she was also nominated for a NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Instructional Work.In addition to her writing, Jocelyn is a media personality who makes regular appearances on shows like TODAY and Good Morning America, and has contributed to or been featured by publications including Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and O Magazine.
