He is a specialist in the international wine trade. His bylines have appeared in The New York Times, PUNCH, Serious Eats, and others. Experience Charles Antin's nearly decade-long tenure at legendary auction house Christie's began in sales, where he quickly worked his way up the ranks to become a wine specialist and the company's youngest state-licensed commercial auctioneer. There, he brought down the gavel on more than just wine, but on millions of dollars worth of watches, Post War & Contemporary art, Asian art, and single-owner collections.At Christie's, Charles developed a reputation for his fundraising skills, auctioneering hundreds of benefits including the Jackson Hole Wine Auction, Seth Rogen's Hilarity for Charity, Teach for China (Hong Kong), the Brady Center for the Prevention of Gun Violence, the Friends of Acadia auction, Camillus House, Family House SF, Pairings Nashville and auctions benefiting the Boston Symphony and the Nantucket Wine Festival. In 2016, he co-founded Lot 1 Auctioneers, a consulting firm specializing in charity fundraising. Along with business partner CK Swett, he auctioneers for nearly 200 organizations annually.Charles joined international powerhouse Zachy's Wine Auctions in 2015, where he is the Global Head of Sales.
