Carolyn Lipka

Carolyn Lipka is a Los Angeles-based freelance writer and producer. She has had bylines in Forbes, Food & Wine, Teen Vogue, Vulture, The Cut, and others. Carolyn covers food-related entertainment stories, pop culture, and the arts. She has also worked on television productions and podcasts.


Carolyn Lipka's writing career began in college as a research assistant on book projects like The Gatekeepers, a New York Times bestseller by Chris Whipple. She went on to blog about politics for Teen Vogue and cover Top Chef season 15 for Food & Wine. In addition to contributing to magazines, Carolyn has worked on television productions like The Dropout on Hulu. She also helped develop pilots and television series for Keshet Studios, Comedy Central, and Amazon. Carolyn is currently working on the HBOMax series Hacks and producing more podcasts with Higher Ground Audio.


Carolyn graduated from Yale University with a bachelor of arts in history and film studies.
