Andrew Parks

Andrew Parks is a Minneapolis-based freelance writer and editor who covers topics ranging from food, drink, dining, and travel to arts and culture. His features appear in New York Magazine, Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, Buzzfeed, Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and AFAR. Andrew specializes in "spreading the gospel of Minnesota greatness."

Experience

Andrew got his start working as a news reporter and copywriter for media organizations like Rolling Stone, The Buffalo News, and Apple Music. He parlayed his knowledge of music and entertainment into a job as creative director for the online arts and culture guide Cartogramme. When he is not writing features for national publications, Andrew is a content strategist for a variety of companies, such as home goods and kitchenware specialist FLOTSAM + FORK. He uses his writing and editorial expertise to produce and curate digital content to promote Minnesota tourism.
