In this clip from Chefs Feed, chef Kyle Itani shares the proper etiquette for taking photos in restaurants.
What the **** are you doing? Don't set up a photo shoot in the middle of your dinner. [SOUND] I send a dish out from the kitchen, and then I go out to check on the table. One person has a napkin draped across the dish, another person is literally standing their chair with their Cell phone flash light shining, another person is rotating the dish while a fourth person is taking pictures with their giant iPad. Huh? What is going on here? Why are you not eating my food? When the food got out it was hot. Now it's luke warm at best. The other diners are looking at you like you're insane. I mean, it's just so ridiculous. If you wanna take pictures, great. I take photos of food, but be discrete about it. Don't disrupt the entire dining room, and get in there with your fork. [MUSIC]
