[MUSIC] A cook, my father was a cabinet maker. My
mother run a restaurant, and was a chef. Either I
do what my mother's doing. Or, what my father's doing.
So, I did what my mother did. And, I never
regretted it. [MUSIC] I probably go back to my Grandmother.
What my mother cooked. What my aunt cooked. 12 restaurants
family. 12 of them owned by 12 women. I'm the
first male to go into that business. [MUSIC] Last week,
a bottle of champagne, a can of caviar with your
mother. [LAUGH] That sounds pretty good. The week before, a
bottle of champagne, a can of caviar with my husband.
[LAUGH] Yeah, cool. That sounds good. Got a foodandwine.com to
subscribe to Food & Wine.
