Your can of cooking spray can be used for much more than coating a pan.
It's no secret that nonstick spray comes in handy when you're baking. You can coat loaf pans or pie plates or even muffin tins. But it's also good for other things. And I want to let you in on a few of my secrets. [MUSIC] Secret number one, whenever you're measuring anything sticky, like honey or molasses, you want to go ahead and lightly coat your measuring spoons. so just give it a little spritz. Just like that and go ahead and [MUSIC] Pour it in, we've go a tablespoon. Check this out. I mean look at that. Slides off the measuring spoon. Now, secret number two. Whenever you chop anything sticky, I'm talking dried fruits, upper cuts, in this case we're gonna do dates, but it even works for garlic All you need to do is lightly coat your knife. [SOUND] Just like that and pile it up on your cutting board. And just give it a nice chop. [MUSIC] Look at that, my knife is spotless, it slides right off. And secret three is for taco Tuesday. We all know this, a box grater, and we all know what it's like when you are grating cheese. It can all get stuck in the teeth. But, what you're going to do, is just lightly coat it with some non-stick spray. And on the inside as well. And, just as you always would, I mean, look at this. The cheese is just sliding right off. And you just give it a little tap. And there you go. So remember this mad genius tip next time you find yourself in a sticky situation. [MUSIC]
