[MUSIC] Hi, my name is David Bonum, this is my second year as a judge for the contest. I'm Jamie Harder. I'm originally from Birmingham, Alabama. Hi. My name is Jeannie Kelly. This is my second time judging the contest. I did it last year. What we do is we go into a little room. And we sit down and the dishes come into us one category at a time. And we taste the dishes and we base them on the visual appeal, the flavor, use of the products that they were supposed to use and originality. This year there were a lot of strong recipes, great dishes, delicious, I think we all had a great lunch today just tasting everything. They would compare notes, and discuss each dish in detail. One of the main things is visual appeal, is it something that someone's gonna wanna eat? It has to look appealing and appetizing. Another thing we look for which I feel is just as important is flavor. Something can be slightly less pretty, but really wows you when you eat it and that's really important. And again, the sponsor category. And products that need to be used and we have to know if they make sense to use them in the recipe. Recipe. We don't want them just thrown in there. You tell them to use butter and why did they use it. We kind of come to a consensus, so it's very democratic. It was very close, really, really, really close. But in the end, the recipes we chose were definitely the strongest. And of course there was always the difficult decision. Some things were really, really close and You just have to decide, well this is the winner. [MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO]
