[MUSIC] I am Lindsay Weiss. I am from Overland Park, Kansas and I am a part time stay at home mom and a part time management consultant. I am making ginger shrimp pot stickers with a spicy peanut dipping sauce. A pot sticker is fried on the bottom and then steamed really delicately on the top and so learning how to get that sort of crust on the bottom, the fried part, without burning it and then steaming it really well, and it took a lot of practice for me to get that right. I had never made a pot sticker before in my life. But just the mere name of it is a challenge, because you assume they're gonna stick to the bottom of your pot. I found a recipe and they really loved them and so then I just kinda changed up the flavors pretty drastically and submitted it to Cooking Light and it worked out wonderfully, every year for the past three years, I flip through and see the winners and Every once in a while I think, I wonder if I could do that. You never think anything like that is gonna happen to you, so it was just such an honor, so exciting. [BLANK_AUDIO]
