Brough to you by Pepcid Complete, fast and long lasting heartburn relief that doesn't make you compromise between hurting now or later. Hi I'm Tim Love and when the heat hits Texas in the summer I like to head out to San Francisco for the Cool temperatures and a vibrant city life. And while I'm there, my wife and I always go to the slanted door for lemon grass pork with noodles. I just love this dish. I love the subtle spiciness. And I especially like to eat it out by the water. But if you can't make to San Francisco, you don't have to compromise. I've got a great dish right here with ramen noodles out of a package. I know it sounds kind of crazy, but it's awesome. Trust me. This dish is really great. It only takes about five to seven minutes. Let me show you how we make it. First, you wanna start off with a little bit of oil. Have your pan on about medium heat. Then we're gonna add in The bacon first. [MUSIC] shiitake mushrooms. You can use just about as much as you wanna of any of these ingredients, but I got about half a cup to a cup of mushrooms. About a cup of Julienne carrots. Then we're adding the garlic. And I like to use a lot of garlic And some chili flake. Get that little subtle spice going on. So I'm gonna stir all this up. You wanna kinda continuously stir it. The mushrooms, the garlic, and the carrots keep cooking. You just wanna dote a little flavor on the bottom of the pan. Now once the carrots start to soften, we wanna add our chicken stock. Now if you don't have chicken stock or chicken broth, You can use the little seasoning packet that comes in a package of Ramen noodles and some water. It works just fine, little bit saltier, but it works great. After you add the chicken stock, you're gonna bring it up to a boil, continuously scraping it to get the flavors off the bottom of the pan. We're gonna add in our noodles. See, packaged Ramen. Just pop that bad boy right in there. Soak it into the stock. Make sure you take your spoon and kinda push the noodles down into the liquid. This allows it to start absorbing all those flavors that you just built up in the pan. Now we're gonna let this boil for about four minutes, or until the noodles just get soft. Now that our noodles are soft and cooked, we're ready to add a little salt and pepper. Now remember, if you use the packet, you want to taste it before you add salt. If you have chicken stock or chicken broth, you're probably going to need a little bit of salt. Now we're ready to plate it up. Lucius. But wait, don't eat it yet. Got a couple more things that's going to put this dish right over the edge. First you wanna take a little bit of fresh lemon. Hold your hand under the lemon just in case any seeds may come out of there. And then I'm gonna top it with some fresh cilantro. [MUSIC] Man, that just smells delicious. Make me feel like I'm San Francisco. And remember, when it comes to your favorite food and places to travel, always bring Pepcid Complete. So you never have to compromise. [BLANK_AUDIO]
