I love grilling, but I don't like to spend a lot of time at the grill. One thing is to use huge cuts of meat, pork shoulders, beef tenderloin. Things like that can be placed on the grill, forgotten about all day long or for a few hours, and you come back later and it's all cooked, you don't need to stand there and watch it. Another thing, it's these very thin cuts of meat, things like veal scallopini, obviously fish or skirt steak, those only take a couple minutes a side. And so you're not stuck at the grill very long.
