Italy's a magnificent place. There's two places I suggest. One is Puglia, the heel. Go to the south, understand the culture, eat at a place called Fornello da Ricci, and understand what 19 small antipasti mean. The second, which I've been singing about for years, is Bologna, it's three pastas. It's tagliatelle al ragu It's Tortellini en Brodo and it's lasagne alla bolognese al forno. You can't miss.
