I think if you're gonna do a party, the most important thing you wanna do is you wanna be able to prep stuff the day before. You wanna make sauces. You wanna make all of your ragus and things like that. Then when you're having your party, all you're basically doing sometimes is just reheating. For example, [UNKNOWN] which is one of my favorite dishes. You sear it off, it's actually better the next day. Or a beautiful ratatouille, which is something you wanna make ahead of time as well. Make sure you're not in the kitchen the whole time so you can hang out with your friends.
