One of my favorite desserts to make though, I love going apple picking with my kids at the end of the summer. And you always end up coming home with way too many apples. So I love it, you just turn the apples, the most simple dessert is a tarte tatin. One, you don't have to make the puff pastry, you can buy it at the grocery store, it's not a sin. You take your sugar, your apples, you caramelize them, toss them in there, cover it with puff pastry, throw it in an oven, you're done.
