When you get to fava beans you take them out like the peas again. They are bigger, more cottony and last recipe will tell you to remove the shell from the outside. So what you do is you drop this in boiling water for a minute or so and after that you take just a little bit of the skin here. And then you press, and it will come out of the bud. That's easiest way of doing it.
