[MUSIC] I'm Justin Chapel from Food & Wine's test kitchen. Join me as I demonstrate mad genius tips. [MUSIC] Today i'm gonna show you a genius way of making an ice cream sandwich super fast, and very Start with one pint of whatever ice cream you want. I prefer vanilla because I'm pairing it with these chocolate chip cookies which, to me this is alway a very classic combination. Chocolate chip and vanilla. So, I think i'm going to make two today. One for you and one for me. First thing youre gonna do is grab your sharpest knife. I like to use a very sharp serrated blade like this one I have here. I know a lot of people have these like fancy tomato knives now, but that'll work too, just get whatever you've got in the cupboard. And I'm just gonna cut right through the ice cream just like this Then I'm gonna do a little snip on the side here and as you can see, you have this nice perfectly even slice of ice cream that you're just gonna set right on top of your first cookie. Take your next cookie and put it on top. And, then all of a sudden, magically you have a peel and eat ice cream sandwich. You can even freeze it with the wrapping on and remove it later, like. And now, my ice cream sandwich, which happens to be a little bit larger. [MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO]
