[MUSIC] I am Justin Chapple from Food & Wine's test kitchen. Join me as I demonstrate mad genius tips. [MUSIC] Whenever making cake, It's super important to line the pan with parchment. But, when you're lining it with parchment paper, a lot of people trace around the cake pan and then they start to cut it with scissors. But, it's too big, so you cut a little more. And it's still too big. Well, I have a mad genius tip that's going to make lining a cake pan perfect and easy every single time. So, start with your piece of parchment paper and fold it in half. Just like this. And then you turn it and fold it in half again. So that you're left with a rectangle that you're going to fold into a triangle. Then fold that one more time almost like you're folding a paper airplane. And what your left with resembles beautiful little tie. Can wear it, may be go out to dinner or you can line your cake pan. So the next step is to take your round cake pan and your gonna lay it upside down and take the point of your triangle and your gonna hold it with your finger directly in the center of your cake pan and your gonna cut the parchment right at the edge of the pan. Unfold the parchment and you'll see that you have a perfect round, which I guarantee will fit into your cake pan perfectly every single time. [MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO]
