So every time I go to Montreal to visit my family, these are the five places I eat. I always go to Joe Beef, David McMillan is an old friend who I love dearly and every time I eat there it's new and exciting. There's always a great scene and the food is always as good as the bar itself. I always eat at Salamange on the plateau. It's really modern but really feels unique. They're really cooking classic hebequa food with the modern twist. Which, I just don't know how to explain it. They're just nowhere else. I love DNA. It's a restaurant in old Montreal that is super modern. It's an amazingly beautiful place with the view of the park. And everything there is really cutting edge and always fresh and exciting And then of course, I cannot go to Montreal without going to Beautys. My favorite place for breakfast, the mish mash, where I eat sausage and eggs and green peppers and onions, and the best banana bread I've ever had in my life. And then, no trip to Montreal is complete without a stop at Schwartz's. Hundred year old deli, the most classics, smoked meat french fries and pickles, and a diet cherry cola.
