Please put your blindfolds on. [MUSIC] Your time starts now. [NOISE] The clock starts and I get in there, tear through some stuff. I don't know what I can accomplish in ten minutes on my dish. It depends on what the ingredients are, it depends on how it rolls. My game plan is to see what's in the fridge and get my sauce on. I pull out the proteins. I pull out black cod and I pull out scallops if somebody wants to do that. First thing I do is get my sauce on. I'm hoping to olive oil poach the fish. [NOISE] Deal with the sauce. I have shrimp and mushrooms out because I'm using Sauce and I'm gonna use that flavor profile I wanna keep it nice and simple. Five minutes, you have five minutes until your team mate takes over for you. [MUSIC] Our game plan is basically to take some raw ingredients like the strip steaks, like the mushrooms and just start cooking them at a very basic straight forward way. Start cleaning the greens and radishes. That's just so the next person isn't constricted to a flavor profile. My concern is that our team doesn't necessarily have a similar style. Bryan and Michael have a fairly similar style. I think I have a less modern but still Remotely similar style to them, and I think Robin is something east of Mars in terms of the kind of food we do. [SOUND] [MUSIC] Go, babe, go. [MUSIC] I feel really good, but I'm just worried that they're not gonna follow the flavor profile. They're gonna start pushing stuff aside and going Going in the wrong direction, because if they do that, then the challenge is just destroyed. I get over there, and I see these two pieces of fish. I have a sense of what she's gonna do, but I find scallops, and I pull those out as well, cuz it wouldn't be horrible to have a piece of fish and a scallop. This is obviously a sauce, it just needs to simmer for a while. And I find a pan of oil with a piece of thyme in it. I pull the thyme out, and I'm kinda like, does she wanna do a fry Thyme garnish? I don't get it. I was thinking, like, what would Jennifer do, what would Jennifer do, and I finally realized, like, oh, she wants to poach a fish, so I turned it down. I'm blown away by how much veal I got to In ten minutes. Here, he got a steak marked off, he's got some shaved fennel, he's got some hydroponic water crabs out, and I just kind of go with it. I see the anchovies and the [UNKNOWN] I kind of immediately think of a Caesar with those flavors, so I make a little fresh [UNKNOWN] anchovy vinaigrette to do with the shaved fennel. We all get ten minutes Which is no time at all. A piece of me is like, God, I hope I got enough done for the next guy. [MUSIC] [SOUND]
