[MUSIC] There's 17 of you here, but only 16 chef coats waiting for you in the Top Chef kitchen. [MUSIC] First Quick Fire ever for someone to get eliminated on the day that we arrive. This Quick Fire is a test of skill with three rounds. For the first round, you must all peel 15 apples using a knife. No peelers are allowed when you're finished call check. If I'm not happy for any reason, if there's too much flesh taken off the apple I'll make you do another one. OKay so the first nine to finish will be safe. Okay 1, 2, 3. [MUSIC] I'm not going home for an apple not even if I have to swallow the apple whole. I think I'm doing okay, and then I watch my knife cut right through my thumb. And I'm thinking, oh [BLEEP], now what? [MUSIC] Check. [MUSIC] Check. [MUSIC] So there's only one spot left, who will it be? [MUSIC] Check. [MUSIC] Check. Good. Yes. [MUSIC] Who is safe from elimination? Leah, I thought your dish was really well done, the scallops were perfectly seared. I thought it was a very nice dish. And who else? Radhika. It was a very well balanced dish, well-seasoned, so I liked it a lot, thanks. So Tom, who's going to be competing on Top Chef? And who's gonna be going home? [MUSIC] [SOUND]
