Nilou Motamed and Sarah Spagnolo share both splurge-worthy and affordable beach getaways in Nantucket, Hawaii, and Costa Rica.
[MUSIC] Hi, I'm Nilou from Travel & Leisure. And I'm Sarah. We've got some of our favorite easy beach getaways, whether you're looking to splurge. Or save. Nantucket is a quintessential New England escape known for its easy going elegance. If you're looking to indulge while you're on the island, I love the White Elephant for its airy, nautical rooms, shade dotted lawns, and serene spa. Just a five minute walk from the water, the historic Sherburne Inn has eight rooms and the kind of service. You'd expect to pay a lot more for. Everyone dreams about a trip to Hawaii. A favorite of Travel & Leisure readers on The Big Island, is the Four seasons Resort Hualalai. Hollywood A-listers and honeymooners like, love it for its dramatic location and low rise bungalow with sweeping ocean views. You won't have to forego creature comforts at the elegant, but affordable Paia Inn. From the 500 thread count beads, to the three mile stretch of pure white sand beach, this spot should be on every traveler's list. Another spot that seems to be on every Free traveler's list is Costa Rica. One of the most luxurious places to stay there is the Gaia Hotel and Reserve. This Eco-Friendly resort offers unparalleled access to nature. So if you want to see a three-toed sloth like I do, howler monkeys, toucans and dolphins This a place to go. Milarepa Hotel on the Nicoya Peninsula has a handful of beach side bungalows with 4 poster beds. The kids will love the natural tidal pools and you'll love the miles of unspoiled beaches to explore. Thank you for watching. See you on the beach.
