My favorite vegetable in the kitchen right now is watercress. We pick it from the creeks. It's abundant right now. And the reason I like it is because it's a little bit more mild than we can buy in a grocery store, not quite as spicy and soap tasting. When we use it, we puree it, we mix it with grains to make a porridge, then we use it in other ways as well.
