teakababyI loved this recipe. Takes a little time to prep, but I prepped the slaw dressing and the rub mixture the day before and then it was a super simple dinner. I used packaged coleslaw mix. I also added black beans to the tacos. Delicious. Have made 3 times.

Easy and delicious light lunch or quick supper. The peanuts and bean sprouts were wonderful texture complements to the crisp salad. The warm salmon on cool salad is superb.

I rarely give a bad review but this recipe was disappointing. I will take partial blame because I used dried favas and they just don't work in this recipe the way fresh favas would. Either way, the marinade was not good. It was overwhelmly saffron-y. It just didn't work for me. If you try it, use fresh favas and try adding some fresh squeezed lemon juice as a finish. That might help.

This was a quick and easy lunch. I cut one extra corner and just used roasted red peppers from a jar, but I did heat up in the oil with garlic and crushed red pepper. The crushed pepper is a perfect addition to the spicy pepper and arugula. The tomato is key to keep it fresh. I also used pumpernickel bread which I think was a better choice than whole grain, and it looked lovely too.

I prepared this exactly as directed, using golden beets as shown in the picture. It was wonderful! The beets ann lentils provide a nice hearty, earthiness while the arugula and feta provide a clean and crisp contrast. The vinaigrette is subtle and bridges the to spectrums nicely. A definite keeper. Nice light but satisfying weeknight meal.

This recipe was a lot of work and came out just o.k. I was so excited at the prospect of carmelizing butternut squash and combining it with chocolate but it didn't wow me. At first I actually disliked it, but I let the second serving sit in the fridge for 2 days and it was at least edible. Won't make again.

This was super easy and impressive! Nice, light weeknight meal. I made exactly as directed except I substituted hot cappicola for pancetta....delicious! The lemon vinaigrette gave the salad a perfect spark so as not to be boring. I will add this to the permanent weeknight collection.
