This was one of the most popular appetizers served at my holiday party last year! I used a little more cheese than the recipe called for and cooked them for about 25 minutes versus 20.

I made this recipe replacing the white wine with a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and adding red onion and sweet peppers to the oil. It was amazing and even people who didn't love mussels loved this dish!
