I tried this out and made modifications since.  I added pined nuts, used micro basil, ground pork and served it with Chinese mustard with finely sliced green onion.  Last night was a hit.  Next I am going to try it with duck.

I added more pepper and garlic then roasted onion.  I kicked it up with some hot sauce and tomatillos.  Delicious.  Served it with chips as well as grilled bread.  I have made it three times since.

I loved the recipe but added jalapeno to the dressing.  The only problem I has was with carmelizing the cheese. Otherwise it was a hit.
