I made this soup with leftover Oktoberfest sausages.. It was such a perfect fall meal. Perfectly layered and harmonious flavors and textures. Yum.

I just love adding simple and flavorful touches like this to my mashed potatoes. This one I had done with thinly sliced onions, but I loved the milder flavor of the shallot as an alternative.

I added crispy red potato wedges to the green beans and onions and I prepared my pork roast with a mustard crust, delicious!! This was a nice inspiration for me.
