I thought the flavoring was intriguing: multi-dimensional and flavorful. The guys did not like it- they thought it was a bit too crazy of flavor combinations for them (!).

This cake didn't have enough spice to it and I found the cream cheese frosting not sweet enough. As a whole, the recipe just didn't have enough punch to it for my tastes.

The taste of this was excellent.  I didn't a WOW appearance (I might not serve it at a dinner party) but it was a family hit taste-wise.  The mustard sauce paired with this nicely.  Drizzled some of it on a side of orzo and it was a yummy addition to it.

Hmmmm.  A delicious dish for a cold winter night.  I was a little short on chicken stock and substituted in some beef stock.  Actually, I think it made it richer tasting.

I was expecting more from this recipe for the amount of time spent roasting garlic and reducing the sauce.  It just came up short without a dynamic outcome like I was hoping.

Mmmmm. The addition of the chat masala was worth the special trip to the store for it.  Really a nice flavor.  Whole family gave it a thumbs up and a "please repeat it" request.

This is off the charts crazy good!  I cut out the chiles to make it family friendly and everyone loved it - SPINACH!

Not sure what the consistency should be. I used Greek yogurt and mine was so thick it could barely pour. I thinned it with more sugar water. Refreshing.

Cake portion was moist and easy to make.  It produced a near perfect crumb.  I liked the square shape of this cake.  I'm not sure about the frosting- most of my guests thought it was okay but in the future I might use the same cake recipe but tweak the frosting portion.  As with most cakes, this was much tastier the next day!
