YUM! The flavors were great together and on a pizza! Unfortunately, my grocer was out of escarole, but to make up for that component, I added a little chopped garlic to the pizza with the rest of the ingredients before cooking, and then right when it came out of the oven I topped with some arugala and a drizzle of olive oil. It slightly wilted and added a nice peppery touch. So good!

I love pickles and these might be the best I have ever had. I had some very prolific cucumber vines in the garden this year, so I was glad to see this recipe. They are really garlicky, which I loved.

This was a tasty and satisfying dinner. The chickpeas made it seem like a hearty meal, even though it is rather light. I added some sauteed spinach to the artichoke chickpea mixture.
