This is terrible.  The sauce is not pleasant to eat at all -- raw tasting even though it's been cooked a long time.  I may try it again if I can find another sauce recipe.  Rick Bayless has made it on his TV show and it has to be better than this.

Very good.  I don't understand why ALICIAWESIA loved it but only give it one star.

In an abundance of caution, I only used 1/2 tsp. of cayenne instead of 3/4 tsp.  It was fine, but I think the whole 3/4 tsp. would not have been too hot. Next time, I'll increase it.

Dull.  This soup needs much more rice. The picture and description make it sound thick and flavorful, but it's neither.  Also, the raw ginger is not edible -- very strong and unpleasant flavor.

Try a much larger amount of rice (1 C?), use half as much ginger and cook it.  More chicken would be nice too.  Maybe some egg.

This was surprisingly bland and tasteless.  I used regular bread -- not Wonder or anything like that -- so it could have been improved with the pita bread, but I doubt it.  It's hard to find pocketless pita and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Short of living in Beirut, I can't imagine where it might be more accessible.

This was a disappointment.  Bland flavor and gluey rice.

Very tasty.  I couldn't find Smucker's Dulce de Leche, so I used Mrs. Richardson's Caramel and Butterscotch ice cream topping.  Also, use a regular 9" pan, not the tall-sided spring-form.

Very flat tasting.  Needs fresh ginger and garlic plus maybe some rice wine vinegar.

VERY tasty.  I skipped the basil leaves and I cannot imagine it could have been better with them.  I agree with the comment about the egg wash and sesame seeds.

Very dull.  I used regular pecorino, not pecorino sardo which might improve it.  But it's remarkably tasteless.

You can skip the pea shoots -- whatever they are -- and it's just fine.

Good flavor, but very dry. I wouldn't bother with it again.

This works just fine with regular albacore in water. Cut the amount of artichokes -- they dominate with their vinegary taste.

Use less water and cook until the water has nearly disappeared. Very tasty and easy.

REALLY yummy! But definitely eat immediately -- it gets soggy quickly.

Very bland. Needs a tastier cheese -- perhaps gorgonzola? Maybe some bacon? Good theory though.
